I have what probably is a stupid question, but one I don't know the answer to and can't find any info online about. A friend of mine is looking at buying a 2000 Mustang with some hail damage on the roof. Only the roof, nowhere else. He checked with a local body shop guy to get a rough idea about doing some PDR on it. The guy told him that year Mustang has an aluminum roof, and getting the hail dings out by PDR is nearly impossible. I wasn't aware of any stang having an aluminum roof at all. Is this true? If so, what years have aluminum roofs? Or is what the guy told him BS? Thanks

Someone over on Corral made a carbon fiber roof skin for a 94-98 Cobra.. that is the only known to me non steel roof but NO Mustang ever had an aluminum roof.. dude didn't want to touch the car would be my guess..71 Dodge Demon Green/Blk big turbo slant 6 in progress
