    34 lb/hr injectors?

Does anyone out there have any experience using 34 lb/hr injectors on a (fox) 5.0? I'm building an NA 331 and I'm trying to decide between 34's and 36's. I'm using AFR Renegade 185's to make ~10.1:1 comp, a COMP XE274HR stick, and a Trickflow Street Heat intake. I'm thinking the intake and my BBK shorties may limit me to 430-440hp so based on Ford Racing's calcs, 34 lb injectors would be about perfect. In a beautiful coincidence, Latemodel Resto sells FRPP 34's w/EV6 to EV1 connectors for about half the price of 36's.

The head scratching began when I tried to find a corresponding sample tube for my 73mm C&L MAF housing. C&L lists calibrations for 36/38's but no 34's. I've tried calling and emailing them with this question but haven't been able to get a hold of anything more than their answering machine...

Any ideas? Anyone tried a similar combo?

you'd be fine with 30's. so yes either 34 or 36 would be sufficient. i wouldn't use some goofy conversion connector though, i would just run the correct injector style for the car.

that c&l maf will be gone after you start driving the car so i wouldn't worry about that. those things suck huge donkey balls. been there replaced that.

Why all the hate on the C&L? I've been running the housing on the car with a AFM CAI for years in mildly modified trim (E303, TF intake, 70mm TB, full exhaust, etc.) and it's never presented a problem... Do they cause problems in higher hp applications? What's your recommendation?
