03 Chevy Malibu 3.1L headgaskets and intake

Just looking for my brother, he is seeing if its worth fixing. Wondering what one would expect to pay from someone that wants to do it on the side. I dont really feel like doing it.

Its my brothers wifes mom's car she wants way to much for it just because she put some money into it before this happened. She will give it to her daughter if she wants to fix it, but its got 180k some rust bubbles, ect. Doesnt look to bad to do the head gaskets but i wouldnt want to do it for less then 300 plus parts, i also have never done one tho and it cold.

Why not if you don't fuck the dog it is a 4-6 hour job tops$300 plus parts is doable for family.

Ya im talking to them the mom bought a new car and her sister would need to save up the money to get it fixed. Their gonna try to figure it out soon.
