    Galaxie 500 - Alternator/Generator

Working on this car for a friend - someone decided to replace the generator and never finished the job. In the back seat I found the water pump pulley, fan, what looks to be a GM 1 wire alternator, two metal brackets and some bolts. With what I've currently got this is not going to work-

Can anyone give me some pointers? I'll get some pictures of what I'm working with tonight, but it seems that there is a hi-mount and a low mount option - I'm not sure what that means anyway. It looks pretty original under the hood, still has the cartridge style fuel filter and points ignition...

This has some good pics of the hi and low mounts, but the brackets I've got don't look like those...

I was thinking of installing a 3G in the car as it is stupid simple and simply a great upgrade. Anyone have brackets? The water pump has a dowel on it, so it is the older style.

    Thanks-

    Kyle
