    5.0 Intake & Nitrous suggestions

I’m looking to swap intakes out to the Trick Flow R. Any thoughts about porting & polishing? Or just take it out of the box and slap it on.

Second, I need to change my wet nitrous setup. I’m thinking it should be as simple as swapping out my plate with a new plate. There are 2 choices, NX & Trick Flow (made by NX). Any opinions?? The Trick Flow looks like my Holley NOS wet plate that I am using. Standard design with “restrictive” spray bars. The new NX stuff has no spray bars and I guess, it just squirts out the plate?

Also am I correct in thinking I can keep my Holley NOS Cheater junk and just swap out plates?

About the vehicle it will go on.
Junk fox with a junk stock block with a junk fuel system with a junk supercharger. Oh, and right now it has the junk stock intake on it with junk iron heads.

thanks for the input on my junk

If it is a stock block dont waste your money.

Plus they never wear out.

    I disagree.

        High performance stuff

Nah, actually starting to get back into the hobby a little. Twisted the unibody a bit so i wanted to get the frame aligned was headed back to Never Satisfied to get a new face put on.
Car is running pretty strong now. At least i feel so.
Next stop is the suspension shop to do some more work

I took the car as far as i can. Now it's time to get serious and let the pros help me to the next level.

Switching things up a bit. Getting this car up to salable condition and have been actively searching for a new fox.

Someone must know if the TFS-R intake is fine out of the box or needs some port work?

Also are the NOS Cheater solenoids sufficient with other “kits” or do you need to use the respective manufactures solenoids?

I’m afraid to call the manufacture because I know they will just say to buy new solenoids.

*frame aligned fine, and fresh paint

tfs-r are good for 500+ hp id think you are good for any stock block application. solenoids should also be good enough for any stock block application, the jetting restricts the flow not the plate.
