I just installed an air/water seperator coming from the passenger side valve cover. I just had it with a breather before. Drivers side still just has a breather. I figured it would slowly fill up with oil, but I was surprised today to see that it is filled at least 1/4 of the way with clear liquid...I'm assuming it's E85 that collected from vapors eminating from the crankcase. It's been installed for 2 whole days and it's already 1/4 full of what I'm guessing is E85 vapors in liquid form.
Anyone else run into this? I'm guessing that it's just been leaving my crankcase in vapor form forever so I'm not too concerned about it. My car does not run exceptionally rich but obviously there is a lot of fuel volume going through the engine under boost at low-mid 11s air fuel ratio. Maybe my engine is getting a little 'loose'....
Side note: They aren't switching blends already are they? I had to turn my fuel pressure down 5psi to get back to my 'standard' full E85 air/fuel ratio. Maybe I got a weak tank of fuel.
