    direction of blower motor?

    98 pile of fuck cavalier

so my problem is i have no flow coming out my vents! i have the car ripped apart, dash is out. Now i got the car started and see that the vent doors are opening and closing as they should. I replaced thermostat, heater core, and when i bought car they said the blower motor was replaced.

I can hear the blower motor get louder and sucking in air when on high. i took off the motor and too me its spinning backwards, Its spinning clockwise, is that correct?

There is nothing blocking the vents, i have it apart so i can see. i can see the blower motor getting air, not sure what else it could be, theres nothing else the air is going threw except the heater core & thats NEW... any ideas?

    in lino lakes... help?

well when looking from top or bottom, its going clockwise looking from where the glove box is, so clockwise when looking from the top.

Well seeing as you have access what I would do is hold up a towel to the blower and see if its sucking air or pushing where the vents meet the blower, its got to be reversed theres mothing else it could be. Is it a plug or single wires to blower?

So its sucking where it meets the vents? try switching the two wires and see what happens if the same you have the wrong blower motor.

Sometimes with aftermaket (Chinese) blower motors they come pre-wired "backwards" or are color coded to the wrong polarity/direction.
