    Intercooler question

I am building a 91 5.0 notch turbo car, its a stock 5.0 w a few bolt ons and im wondering what I should do for an intercooler, hoping to make 400 rwhp on 93 octane. Are ebay intercoolers any good? any recommendations for size?

If there is any chance of you wanting more in the future, I'd put the biggest you can fit in there. You won't need too much of one though to make 400 depending on your turbo size. Back when I was building mine, the cheaper ebay IC's with the 24x12x3 or the 24x12x4 cores seem to be pretty popular an work fairly well for the price.

Just buy a Garrett (Honeywell) intercooler core and have someone weld you up some end tanks.

If you only want 400whp. Order the on3 kit and be done.

Or search for the biggest IC you can fit up to 4" thick and call it good.

I'd probably just pick up a used kit though, save on money and headache unless you can fab up something yourself, which it looks like almost everyone can do these days.
