    Navigator Torsion Bar

After letting the truck sit for a few months finally have time to tackle this. I have the old bar out. It was cracked in the middle and the ends were rusted to all hell. Im trying to figure out how to install the new used bar I managed to track down. (Big no thanks to Ford for discontinued parts!)

This doesnt seem as straight forward as I had hoped. So torsion bar install? How do I get this back together?

    Thanks!

Anyone? I have the bar out. Do I need to drop the cross member to get the new bar in? Im having trouble with the angle of the bar. Seems to me I need to go through the front first then through the back. Problem is that I cant get through the front...is there a trick? One of you guys must have a tip.

the easiest way to put in a new torsion bar is to pull the lower arm off the truck.
it's almost allstock! except the wheels.
