As some of you know, Hellion makes a successful twin turbo Termi Cobra kit that keeps the factory Eaton blower intact. It makes boost almost immediately and also has a big top-end. They have made 1100+rwhp with a stock Eaton (stock pulley too) and twins on a stock longblock.
I happen to have an On3 kit waiting to be installed, and my car currently has a Kenne Bell 1.7 on it.
I am looking for reasons why this wouldn't work.
If I hear some good reasons, I won't bother with the project. If there are crickets, Don and I will be undertaking this.
The KB kit moves the alternator to almost exactly where the On3 kit puts the turbo, so the alternator will need to be moved, along with the KB IC coolant tank / pump. Other than that, it should (theoretically) fit fine....the TB is basically in the same spot as an NA car.
I would go up to a bigger pulley on the KB, maybe pulley it for 8-10lbs or so, then put a 8-10lb spring in the On3 wastegate and go up or down from there.
I feel as though I could make 700whp pretty easily to start with and have a great wide powerband. Plus it would be fun.
