What prevents wheel from 05- mustang from going on 94-04?

Offset. The S197 wheels will be tucked under the car and it looks ugly.~Matt

^ This. I put 05 GT wheels on my daughter's 96 and it needed spacers. It was kind of weird though (I thought) because it only needed them in the rear. I bought four 1/2" spacers and it didn't look right, so I sold them and bought two 1" spacers just for the rear. I can send you some before and after pics if you want to see the difference.
