    radiator fan not coming on!?

    1999 Mustang GT

    170xxx miles

The ac crappped out on me and now the fan won't turn on for the radiator
Can it be the CCRM? That's what I found by researching the interwebs.

    Are these hard to replace?

The fan motor spins by hand, so it isn't seized but could be the fan motor also I supppose.

    Any thoughts??

    Thanks in aadvance

That's a better place to start I suppose.

First thing tomorrow, I can find my owners manual for fuse locations.

I think it is in the garage somehwere!

Verify voltage at the fans when vehicle is at temp and then trace your way back.

So.....is the fan getting worn out and drawing too many amps or are we calling the fuse a causal part?

I didn't check how much of a draw it was taking, not tottaly sure on how to do it, I
Have a voltmeter. It might be getting worn out, the car was overheating at
Long signals or if I sat at idle for too long.

I ppulled the fan out and took a garden hose and rinsed all the fins out on the
Radiator. They were just filled with sand and cotton type pollen, so no doubt the fan
Has bbeen workinng really hard and that's probably what popped the fuse.
