Backspacing with a 15x10 rim on mustang

    Backspacing with a 15x10 rim on mustang

    was wondering what Backspacing will work on a 82 fox with 15x10 rim's
    will 4.5 Backspacing work.
    Turbo chevy 383 power in the merc.

    Are you 4 lug or 5 lug


    Currently have Teal 1994 GT 5 speed Coupe and 2010 fusion sport.

          Most foxbody stuff is 15x10 w/ 6.5" backspace, the less backspace you run the further out from the car it is going to stick out.....

            If the rear-end has not been narrowed you will need a 6.5" bs wheel with possibly a 1/4" spacer, depending on how much "massaging" you did to the inner wheel wells.
            8.54 @ 159 mph on a 275 drag radial
            5.43 @ 127 mph to the 1/8
            8.91 @ 153 in True Street legal trim
            Best 60' at Top End Dragways 1.22 on 275's
