    Paint Question

So I am making a project where I will be using two different colors of paint. My first thought is to lay down a primer then coats of the color I plan to mask off then the final color and a clear. The only problem I am having is that I am worried that the color to be masked off (more than likely a navy blue) will bleed through the final color (probably white). What steps do I need to take so that is not the case? Or will it be fine with enough light ever coats?

Is there any reason you can't spray the white first and then the navy blue? Or are you doing some sort of lettering or graphic design on the navy blue?

The portion in blue will be on raised odd shaped pieces, the white will be the body. I guess I was thinking it would be the easiest to mask off the blue in that case.

you should get some good tape 3M makes some fine line tape that works well for that.

Bump for issue about the blue bleeding through the white.
