    head studs

    thread sealant OR oil to install??

    I have used motor oil just fine but wondering while I have thread sealant handy....
    71 Dodge Demon Green/Blk big turbo slant 6 in progress
    83 GT Red/Blk HCI 306/ 3550/ 4.30 8.8
    93 LX Reef Blue/ Grey stock bolts on's/ T5/ 3.55 8.8

          Use thread sealer only on the threads going into the block where waterjackets are. Use 30wt with one set of torque specs or ARP moly lube with the other specs on the studs where the nuts/washers go.

          It should be in on the spec sheet in the box, or lookup ARP's site
          1988 5.0 Notchback
          100% Stock 302 Intake to Oil Pan as delivered from FORD Factory
          100% Stock Driveline (T5, Clutch, 3.08's, control arms etc...)
          100% Stock ECM/Tune ('88 California Mass air ECM)
          1 bolt on... Baby Precision TE44 TURBO
          Best time to date: 11.562 @ 123.37 1.892 60-ft BIR 9/19/08

                dipshit, in all honesty turbo302guy is right. read the directions. you are putting together an engine not a god damn lego set. READ THE DIRECTIONS.

                  Directions for all my head studs said moly all around... so ... this advice would be more than correct.
