Yeah its a Mopar but I may have a chance to pick up a good running 2.5 turbo in a late 80s Dodge. How are the little Mopars compared to the SVO turbo 4 for example? There seems to be a decent aftermarket for them? Would likely become my dd at least for awhile.

It'd be an 89 up, common block. Decently strong, cast crank, cast rods, cast pistons. Comes with a te04h mitsu junk turbo. You can upgrade. The head is a setback as well, swirl port 782's ftl. Get a bathtub head, mill it to keep compression similar to swirl port on a 2.5, run a custom computer from turbosunleashed (if they still do that), +40's, 50 trim or bigger T3 or T3/T4, two piece intake, etc etc etc...probably make around 315 or more at the wheels with quite a bit more torque.god damned tinypic.Comment

Bryan Lugert probably has his funky long rod tall deck engine still. I don't think he ever finished it but that thing was going to make some damn good power since he got rid of the stupid ridiculous rod angle problem of the 2.2/2.5 engines.
