I'd also be interested these as a mechanical drafter. I've never actually seen a car modeled before.

I created a 2d foxbody drawing once, though I don't think I have it anymore...

Also, are you looking for 2D CAD or 3D?

Well... 3D... if it exists, it would probably be wire frame. I might be able to open the file here. I have some very old programs at my disposal, autocad 14 and Microstation that might support the drawing file.

I highly doubt Acad 14 (LOL) or Microstation will be able to open a 3D model file. I have done some searching, and have not found a fox mustang model. I could make one though.

You're right. They probably wouldn't. I wonder if Solidworks 2008 would open the file?

What ever the drawing file is I could probably find a way to open it.

Just to clarify, are we talking about the original files the designers created or some shit that some dude threw together?

                  I'm sure Solidworks could.

It would more than likely need to be an IGES file (*.ige, *.igs, *.iges) or a STEP file (*.stp, *.ste, *.step).

Then again we're talking about a file that currently doesn't exist so...

Autocad R14 should do 3d, I know it does structural drawings 3d....

Yeah, it does do 3D, just not that well. It's a PIA to work with compared to 2000 or newer acad's. Hell, the program is so dated it doesn't even allow you to utilize the right click button for menu options.

I started on R11 with a digitizer. Talk about high tech stuff.

Digitalizer ay That just sounds pretty high tech.

I was 6 when that R11 was released. I had to look up some specs on it.

Multiple views of the model can be plotted in a single plot operation,

OSNAP now fully operates on Circles, Arcs, and Polyline arc segments.

The new ZOOM Vmax command zooms to the limits of the virtual screen.

                            That's quite the advancement!
