    convertible top replacement

    Hi,

My white convertible top on my 1990 LX 5.0 is looking a little shaggy and I'd like to get it replaced this year. Any recommendations of folks in the Twin Cities that do good work? Also, any thoughts on ballpark cost?

    Thanks

IIRC it needs SS staples, I don't want to F with it. Also, if it leaks or has wind noise I can always get it warrantied.

Could visit Dick and Rick's in Bloomington. >link
I was there on a tour and it looked like they did good work there. Also had a lot of really good advice as well.

I did mine myself, sucked. If memory serves it was about $1800 at most shops I called. I've got fairly extensive interior background and had some tools that eased the pain.

If I'm in your shoes... you'll make it through with enough time and patience but I'd at least consider biting the bullet and pay for it to be done if its a nice car-chalk it up to one of those twice in a lifetime expenses.
