    e85 or pump gas?

I need your opinion people. I should be getting my car back from Richard over at msp within a couple of weeks and all I would have left to buy would be injectors and computer. So I'm still deciding on getting the 160lbs injectors and run e85 or I should not?? Any inputs will be appreciated ! thanks!! Oh and this is going to be a street car until I decide to put a cage in it ( not anytime soon).

Details on setup? Do you have the rest of the fuel system to handle the demands of E85?

If this is a track car only and you are looking to maximize power, then e85 may be a good alternative. If you'll be driving this one the street, forgot about it. Run gasoline.

I think what he meant to say is that if you have a boosted car or run high compression than E85 would be a good alternative to race gas as it is cheaper, burns cooler and therefore has less detonation.

The main concern with running it is providing for the larger fuel demand and knowing that the mileage in comparison to pump gas is much worse. I think RivKid said some 22%

You will need a fuel system that will support 30% more hp than you plan on making to run e85. Im not generally an advocate if e85 but in a turbo car i think its not a bad idea. More exhaust volume and the motor should run cooler. Like already stated you will get worse fuel economy, (who cares) and early and late in the season its not e85 but e70. MY impute.

putting new driveshaft, putting new torque converter, front coilovers, exhaust and making the new turbo fit.
