7.3 Diesel side job???? 94 F250

I got a guy that is in need of some 7.3 side work. I don't know much about this engine so bear with my description of his problem...


He thinks there is a bad seal on the line that feeds the HPP resevoir. Couldn't get fuel pressure until they jacked up the front end and overfilled it by several quarts.

Sounds like a lift and/or a cherry picker will be necessary but I'll let you figure that out. I just don't want to send the poor guy to a dealer to have $2000 work done on a $2000 truck.

I thought that 7.3s only went to 2003 1/2? 6.0L?
Anything with a PSD in it is worth waaaaaaaaaaaaay moar than $2k.

you are correct on 2003 1/2 switch to 6.0. Since his is a 94 i think he made it.

he must have ninja edited it from an 04. I couldn't have seriously missed that!
