I have to pull the head to fix the bolt, but I just got offered a good deal on a complete head job, so I decided to just send the heads in at the same time...new seals, valves, decking it, p&p, sandblast, all that good stuff for $100. my friend offered to do them for me at his tech school because he needed heads to rebuild for his Engines 3 class.

Anyways, I wanted to make the plates because I wanted to make sure nothing got into my motor, and to use up some of my scrap metal. The mice and rats...and cat...at my house are too clever for bags, rags, or tape

I hate these mieces too! The bastards already destroyed our 77 Nova Concourse, the hell if they're gonna fuck up my Mustang now!

I'm surprised nobody on here has a random set of heads lying around that they could quick measure out though...I don't even need the height!

I was told it is 17 3/4" x 4 3/4" bolt-to-bolt, so I figured about 19x6 would do, but this is the best post I have received all day

x2, find some old heads to toss on and cover the cylinders, dime a dozen.
