Plug fouling.

I have been experiencing an intermittent miss on two cylinders and it was really messing with fine tuning. So I bought new plugs and wires to remove the possibility of both, the wires were old and ratty anyway. I had been using Autolight 3922s and I know they were way too could and were going to foul, so I fully expected it to happen so I bought a new set of hotter 3924s to replace them. But when I pulled them, I found this.

#1 shows lean, #8 is dark, #2 and #4 are fouled and the rest show decent timing but are sooty.

So it appears I have 2 cylinders fouling and possibly a bad injector, thoughts?

With the 8 million curves that thing has seen in the last 2 weeks, I don't know how you could possibly get anything out of reading these plugs.

check compression, if thats ok swap injectors around. ill PM you my cell number call me when you find the issue with number 8

so did you roll the spark plugs around in the dirt or is your motor that filthy?

Its not that dirty, probably just from handling them.

x3. Plug reading procedure is sure a hell of a lot more then just taking plugs out of an engine that has run under it's own power

He had 2 bad oil rings, I know because we took it apart, ringed, and rebuilt it in two days.

I have a new set of rebuilt 30#rs that I am going to toss in with the new wires and plugs, should fix the problem.
