    head swap

    ditching the vortecs and putting afr 195's on. right now jets are 68's in the holley. expected hp gain is 80-100. anyone have a guess on how much jetting it will need. i have a set of 70's and 72's the head is the 65cc the vortecs where 64cc.

        I'm more familiar with the 4150, but I would think that 72 would be a good starting point for the new combo. You could always jet down 2 sizes later.

          the carb comes from holley with 70's iirc. i had to jet down for the most power

            Like I said, I haven't dicked with a 4160 in a while. If it were me I'd probably start with 72's and work my way down, but do it however you like

                              500 is very realistic. Shouldabeen10s got my last 383 to make 505 with basically vortec heads.
