Mcloed soft-lok single disc clutch.. Big money but it'll hold over a 1k horse, fully adjustable counter weights and all.
9.10@142 on DOTs thru the mufflers, back when I used to race...

I had a SPEC STAGE 2. Never had any issues with it, many 5-6K drops at the track, street driven. Very stock feel and no chatter.
It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

OMG Me too. But I believe yours was a spec 2+. I just run the standard 2. the clutch held enough to explode a slip yoke on a 5K launch

I was on the dyno a few weeks ago and we could only rev it to 5,700 rpm, but it did make 650 rwhp and it had held 635 rwhp and 605 rwtq for the last 2 seasons without a hickup.

This clutch is mated to a aluminum flywheel. The pedal effort is very easy.

I second this for McLeod!!! I used this with a special Valeo clutch disc. Awesome setup, aggressive action but pretty normal(stock) pedal feel.

sorry i just saw this thread

Oh no, that's not good enough for Chet. Just because the car is going into a breif retirement for paint means that it'll be a 13 second car for life.

But even if my car were 11.50 capable, it sure has the right transmission in it to get it there

Yeah, but how many gallons of gas does it take to run that 11.50?

If I wanted gas mileage and performance I would have bought a Z06.

If I was smart and wanted to save money I'd have done the same thing.
