well if the trans doesnt have a vss signal it wont shift.

sounds like a computer problem or a fuse or a broken wire somewhere

That many things localized like that, I would want to say fuse as well.

      I disagree.

Fuse or missing power to instrument cluster ckt. I have seen this when change from the ashtray falls into the cig lighter port.

All fuses are good checked the ignition switch. Thinking it might very well be the pcm. All this started in one shebang. Every fuse is getting 13.5 some 13.9 almost forgot it will shift via solus scanner.

if ALL the fuses are good id say pcm just for the simple fact you have no vss signal

            no vss= no shifty.

could be a bad connection somewhere also,, go around and wiggle wires and stuff. check connnections to pcm

Did a check on all the wiring its getting power the tranny just won't shift checked all the fuses still no tach unless the harness is unplugged from the tranny. Tried changing the fuses around being a real head scratcher.

I figured it out.. its the cross thing on the front and back. Checked the entire harness and plugs no luck. I haven't found a broken or bad ground wire yet I have cleaned all I have found via the wiring schematic. Full day wasted. Has to be a relay or sensor or some damn thing.

So is everything else fine with the transmission unplugged? Its possible the problem could be a pinched wire in the transmission itself.

How is that a day wasted? You so far know what its not, now you are closer to narrowing down what it is. Keep on keeping on, but remember, time spent isn't necessarily time wasted.
