Update time!!
After 5K miles of boosted fun last summer the On3 wastegate was leaking. Replaced with the Precision Turbo unit. Opted to put in the 7.5lb spring to up the boost from the 6-7psi I was running last year. Then noticed boost wasn't coming in like it used to....throttle response felt spongy. Also at idle and rolling from vacuum into boost I would get a slight open exhaust sound. Started looking into it more and decided it must be the blow off valve spring wasn't strong enough to keep it fully seated/sealed when vacuum was present. Replaced with a Tial unit.
Just got it back from APS. Once again Todd did an awesome job with the tune. Car flat out goes! Engine is happy and smooth as butter.
Now @ 11 psi.....and 9,400 miles on setup....

I went 450rwhp @ 9psi.
I'm 17.2psi now and well over 600. Haven't dyno'd it but it was making 40hp per pound. So I'm positive I'm over 600.
I've personally blown up multiple blower & nitrous cars before 600. But turbo cars seem to live easier. Hell im dropping 17psi off the trans brake from a dead stop on 315 tires! I can't blow up this stock block and I'm trying my damnedest!
I'm also running a massive fuel system for my application with coil on plug ignition.
No fuel issues & accurate timing, these stock blocks can make some steam.
2 years of punishment, and the motor is still fine.93 Teal Cobra #2531

I think this will do it for me on this combo. I didn't realize I was 11 psi. My Autometer vacuum/boost gauge reads 1-2 psi lower than actual.
For the street we fattened the fuel ratio a little, so I drop aprox. 20 rwhp from this number, but gives me a little more cushion. I've also installed an exhaust cutout for when I want to be loud and have fun. On the dyno that netted basically 25rwhp/20rwtq when open, and boost hits hard when open. Motor is super smooth and happy. We didn't tune for numbers, just whatever the motor wanted to do on the combo. The motor is in it's happy place, me too

But more is better!!
I pulled the entire kit off and ceramic coated it. Sort of helped? But not really sure or not.
Ended up doing a full Heatshield Products treatment, and that absolutely made a significant change.
That U bend for the cold side on the driver side where the BOV is I took off and cut 1.5" out of it to pull it away from the crossover. I saw my IAT's drop plus it helped fit the A/c better.
Glad you're happy! But these cars are never done lol.
I'll be doing a full wire tuck this winter with another turbo upgrade. Probably have the billet precision 7675 for sale so you can turn the boost up hi next year!!!93 Teal Cobra #2531
