    Good Aluminum Polish?

My liquid luster is gone and I think it worked better than Nerer-dull. What are my other choices?

Mothers Billet Polish is the best i've ever used. It's expensive stuff though. Around $20 There Alu and Mag polish is good as well but this stuff is noticably better.

It depends on what you are working with. If the metal is in poor shape, the Blue Magic works pretty good because it is heavy with ammonia.

I've also used some of my regular polishes for paint with good results. Many of the OTC metal polishes seem very similar and none has really stood out from the others, IMO.

We had VERY good results with Mother's and a power ball. Took gray looking wheels with tons of oxidation and brightened them up to a mirror finish!

I have best luck with this:

                  And this:

but I really don't want to take the coolant tank off and hold it up to the buffer. lol
It seems that anything I do after I use this makes it worse.

It takes 20 years of buffing to get the polish completely off.

If you use a good cloth for buffing it's really not that bad. You can use a microfiber cloth -- heck even a Viva paper towel works well.

This is probably the best possible option but also the most time intensive.
