Are they indeed a "TRX" wheels, Bob? "TRX" was a metric sized wheel, or are they a true 16"

Yes, original were 15.35" diameter. These are new production by LMR in a 16" diameter. Coker makes repro Michelin tires for the original TRX wheels, but the tires are 1979 technology for $400 each! I have mint 31k mile TRX wheels, but I would rather spend $650 on a new set of these 16" TRX wheels and get some tires with newer/better technology to put on them. Thanks!

Makes perfect sense!!! Awesome that they made something that will fit the look for todays technology.

In Michelin they offer the Primacy HP, Pilot HX MXM4 and Premier A/S(not likely be the best option for what your looking for)
Have you researched the options yet?

No, any recommendations? The wife is all about spending as little as possible (of course). High mileage is not an issue (the tires will probably outlive me!). LOL

The HX mxm4 would be a better fit although more do ray me.....The premier is a "Toyota Camry" type option, if ya catch my drift!!!
