I could go triple for a 6gb setup at the same price, however, with the amd Ganged/unganged mode 2sticks is fine.

Unganged the cores can utilize sticks individually (great for video processing or large file edits, etc).

Ganged mode, pools it and makes it like a SSD and makes the memory available for single applications.

I didn't really need to upgrade, i typically run less than 70% memory usage... with the 4gb... However, i went from 1066, to 1666 speed, and doubled my capacity.
