    Custom reserve fuel tank

I want a reserve tank running across the front of the box of my truck but below the bedrails. I want a large tank for fuel with storage on top. I do not want to have to use a fuel nozzle and crank to get fuel. This will be for 93 octane.

what would cost be for roughly 50 gal service tank roughly 2 feet high, 2 feet deep, width roughly 5 feet made out of aluminum. 1 side would be mostly tank with expansion on the bottom to the other side. the rest of the passenger side on top of the tank would be storage. also would want switch to gravity feed fuel into existing tank. how long would this take and could it be done during a supercharger install on short notice?

If for long distance travel, why not run a 100 gal as a secondary? And why 93 octane?

93 for the supercharger, would be my guess.

            will try, thanks dan!

as to the others asking questions, 93 octane isn't available everywhere, it is for the supercharger, I need the storage for winter gear and Rally pranks. Long distance travel at a high rate of speed is what this is for. I do not want tank to take away from the look of the truck, hence going below the bed rails. The 100 gallon tank would really be unnecessary as the distances travelled rarely exceeded 2 tanks of gas at 25 gal a tank. see http://niccruz.com/nd500-rally/ for details. Notice day 2 and 3, the difference between me and the leaders is little more than a gas stop and slowing down when I'm not running with anyone else.

This is for a 2006 reg cab, stepside f150 xlt. we were Team ZAPV driving this truck with 2 inch leveling kit, 102 mph speed rated mud tires, and a lot of dedication.

So why not a stock location 60 gallon or so? Just wondering.

never heard of a stock location tank like that for a small truck, 50 gallons isn't 75+ gallons. and I still want the storage.
