Noob from Bloomington says belated Hello!

    Hello,

Sorry, I didn't stop by the "Welcome Lounge" before I posted elsewhere :^)
Been lurking for a while with no real time to post (was working 12 hour days)

    I have 4-1/2 Mustangs, 2 T-birds, 3 Aerostars, and 2 Econoline Vans.
(Not to mention a 2-1/2 car Garage full of Mustang / T-bird parts :^)

So, I bleed BLUE! If it ain't a ford ....... It doesn't exist in my world :^)

    gg
    more to follow later :^)

Auto-FX is a revolutionary Acrylic Polymer Polish, Cleaner, and Sealant, specially formulated for clear and non clear coat finishes. Auto-FX is non abrasive and will not harm your finish, but will in fact smooth out surface scratches and abrasions while removing any oxidized and dead paint in one simple step. Auto-FX is the only Car Polish on the market that contains an oxidation dissolving chemical, yet, will not harm the good paint under the oxidation. Auto-FX protects your vehicle from: Road Tar - Tree Sap - Road Salt - Salt Spray - Industrial Fall Out - Acids - Bird Droppings - Eggs - Over Spray - Acid Rain and Alkali Water Spots. Auto-FX even contains the maximum UV protection with a 95% Sun-Screen built right into it. Which also gives it a 1000 degree heat barrier. You can even apply Auto-FX in the sun and on warm surfaces and it will still wipe off easily, even after a long period of time. Auto-FX gives your vehicle a deep rich luster that would make even the most critical person happy, with a minimal amount of effort. Auto-FX contains the bonding agent ACRO-BOND. This formula actually bonds the polish to the finish, for the most durable shine available. Auto-FX has been thoroughly tested. 365 washes with soap, water and brushes did not remove the Polish. Under most conditions, it only needs to be applied once a year. Auto-FX is also good for polishing Windows, Silver, Gold, Brass, Pewter, Alloys, Ceramic Tile, Porcelain, and Fiber Glass Surfaces.

After almost 3 long years of testing and market research, we are just finishing the final packaging decisions! So, it should be available very soon. Although I may still have some of the test / sample bottles around still :^)

                        Wow!!!

                        I really have to appologize!

When I replied to the polish question this morning, I was late for work.
So, I Cut n Pasted a few paragraphs together from info that I had for it.
I didn't realize it was going to read so much like "Car Polish propaganda"!!

However, here's a true polish story for you:

The formula was invented by a German Chemist about 15 years ago.
At that time, it was sold all over Europe under the name "Auto-Fom".
Soon after, they started selling it here, using Car & Driver Magazine.
Turtle Wax decided to buy them out and bring the Chemist to the US.
They sold the polish for a short time under their Rain Dance polish line.
After realizing no one was going to buy an expensive Turtle Wax polish,
they fired the Chemist (who'd signed a 10yr Non-Compete Agreement)
Ten years to the day (about 3 years ago) the Chemist started making
Auto-FX Car Polish, using an improved formula (similar to the original)
So, for 3 years now, he's been testing it in different environments, on
different finishes for ease of apllication, shine, protection & longevity!

The concensus is that it's 100% ready for public use

                        The End

I suppose this story was just as long and dry as the other stuff!
I am truly sorry, but, I'm just so darn excited about this polish :^)
