Hello all! First car forum ever!

    Hey all!

I am totally new to this forum and it's my first ever car forum I've subscribed to.

A year and a half ago I inherited a 67 mustang convertible. it's in fairly good shape but does need some work and i'm hoping to get references and ideas and overall just support here.

Happy to be part of the group!

and Those 67's are nice looking cars! Got pics of yours? What are your long term plans and goals for the car? I'm sure people around here will be happy to give you some ideas to think upon

i'll get some more pics and get them up. as i stated it's a 67 convertible 289. the body is in great shape as is the interior for the most part. i have some issues with the convertible top which will need to get fixed and then some engine issues as well, although nothing alarming.

humm, what do i want to do with this car? well, it was originally bought for my mother so i want to take care of it. until i got it 1 1/2 years ago it was barely driven anymore and my dad took care of it to a point but didn't drive it or really know much about cars and how to keep it up. so i want to learn about, continue restoring it and keeping it classic. i want to keep it / restore it back to as stock as possible. i also totally realize that i cannot do it all at once and will need to get a prioritized list of what needs to be done and chip away at it.

overall though, i want to drive it and i want to enjoy it! it's a car that begs to be driven and used!!

That looks like a really nice Stang . Bummer you had to take a loss to obtain it, but at least it's still in the family and looking good.

Car looks to be in pretty good shape based on the pictures. Long Minnesota winters are good for picking at the small things it may need, provided you have a warm place to work on it.
