Great game yesterday fellas! That was hands down the best game we've ever played. It was very fast paced and I think we had a legitimate breakout a couple of times! Too bad that team was a bunch of pansy hard asses but it makes beating them that much better.

Good game guys. I still think in general we need to make better / hard passes, but this has (so far) been our best season. Lets keep it up.

I think it was 15 that was bein a puss to me. He promised to knock me out if i came across the middle on him. Not only did he miss, he missed with his slash attempt after he stumbled over.

I also went over and said hi to him while you (zimm) were duking it out and he did nothing. It was that moment when I decided that dog had no bite. And im not sure but i think he was sort of intimidated when i stood up in the box.

We did play good. Hi intensity, great forecheck, better breakout.

With having 2 guys on the puck in their zone they rarely had a good breakout and when they did it was a 2 on 2 or 3 on 2 with our 3rd man back playing high.

That team destroyed us something like 7-1 last time. I think that team is one of the better teams we've beaten.
But yeah our forecheck was really good at making them make bad passes. I know i picked a couple off around the blue line being that 2nd or 3rd guy back. We also backchecked well all game to limit odd man rushes.

I over heard a couple of those guys in the parking lot bitching about our play being chippy and the refs were crap. ehh to each his own.

I think the big reason we did so well was the fact that we completely out hustled them. Beat them to every loose puck. Hell we scored on the penalty kill for crying out loud. and other penalty kills we were the first ones to the puck on the dump, (i.e. Matt and Todd) and that's awesome.

would have been nice to get the shutout especially for Matt, i'll take blame in the goal they had...ah well. i thought we did a great job getting out sticks in passing/shooting lanes and stepping up on the rush especially against a team with some speed.

f' them if they were really bitching about us being chippy. after it was 2-0 they clearly started playing like a bunch of retards and playing like goons...it's a damn league damn.

agreed on the PK hustle, that really helped out. i don't think they even had many opportunities on their PP.

You can tell when a team starts fighting amongst themselves they will self destruct like that team did.

No Jimmah i already took blame for their goal. They got a lucky mishandle of mine. But or PK was AWESOME!!! Not to toot my own horn but i thought i did very well the minute or so we were on the 3 on 5 but Im still seriously jacked that we beat that team. And yes Ryan you are the cure to our cancer, without you our hearts do not beat
