Don't know him. I know the owner of royal sports pretty well, but he doesn't deal with the mountain sleds a whole lot. Are you in Albert lea full time now?

I know a guy with one, has been great, he likes it, is actually looking to sell it.. They're good motors, other 800s are junk. On the trail versions they can have issues with chaincase, jackshaft, belts, but I think the mountain sleds were better due to lower gearing.

a friend has a 12 HCR 800. Other than the diamond drive it's F'in bad to the bone. way to much for ditch banging but super fun elsewhere. The new 800s are awesome, no major issues I've heard of.

2012+ does not use diamond drive. They use a traditional chaincase with a tcl link that makes diamond drive look like gods gift to sleds. Diamond drive really isn't bad though.
