    .22 semi-auto handgun recommendations?

Looking for something cheaper to shoot at the range regularly. Already tired of going through a box of 9mm at lunch. Fondled the Sig Sauer Mosquito today and didn't hate it - probably about as small as I'd be willing to go though. Reviews seem to say it's picky on rounds though.

I have the Sig. It is picky on rounds. It only really likes CCI. I have used cheap rounds but it will jam more. I prefer the more expensive rounds anyways, I tend to shoot a lot and that cheap stuff really is dirty compared to the CCI. A few members on here have been with me when I shoot it and can tell you how accurate it is. It you want something that will shoot any ammo get a Buck Mark. I have one of those as well.
It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

I did some, I read some guys take the whole lip off. They have a lighter spring that is suppose to help as well. I have not tried that. Only real complaint I have is it is a very long trigger pull. My 9 year old shoots this gun a lot and has some trouble with the trigger pull.

I'll have to see if I can find the CCI rounds around town to compare prices. Did find a lightly used Mosquito for $300.
I don't really care on what it shoots as long as it's a little cheaper to run through 100 or 200 rounds than my 9mm. Although I do have a few hundred rounds of Federal ammo laying around that I bought like 10 years ago and haven slowly been throwing through my marlin rifle.

Ruger or Buckmark. I'm also a fan of my 22 conversion for my 1911 but if you don't already have a 1911 then it would be an expensive option.

CCI I buy at Fleet Farm. They run it on sale for I think $5.99 PER 100. I have found the 40 grain works the best. I bought my SIG brand new at Bills for $369. I have the two tone stainless and black. You cant even get this model anymore.

This would be my next choice, will shoot anything. And is a decent gun. Guy I shoot with has one. But it is much lighter then my Sig, so I find it harder to control if that makes sense. And I dont think its as accurate.

The accuracy changes greatly with the velocity of the round. Anything over 1000 fps is fine. I guess subsonic ammo is as accurate as an airsoft gun AND the powder will jam the gun.

My dad has a little beretta blocky looking thing that probably has about a bagillion rounds threw it. it cycle pretty reliably but has terrible sights and i dont find that accurate but i dont have that much to compare it to.
