Where in MN can you camp and feel free to shoot rifles without being bothered?

I got a new rifle I'd like to bring with camping to get comfortable with and get some trigger time in before fall.

I'm also looking for some new camping spots. I like heading north, but I'd much prefer to drive less than 4 hours outside the cities.

    Any ideas?

I’ve shot a ton up north in the Superior National Forest, there are tons of old logging areas and gravel pits that people frequently use for target practice.

That's a great idea. Not too far and I could get some walleye fishing in while I'm over there

Solid idea too. In the past when I went up there I made the mistake of staying too close to the lake/people, do you have to go a long ways inland to get away from all the hikers?

Side note: How in the bloody hell do you multi-quote? Could've sworn there used to be a button for that.

next door, any where you want in ND, preferable in the city limits of Minot.
