I'm thinking about getting my permit to carry, and I was curious as to the best way to go about this? Where can I go to, to learn more about classes, how to become certified? Rather than just googling it, and fucking with useless links, I figured I would just start another gun-related thread here on TCS.

he does classes in the west metro and bloomington, ect. one of the best and cheapest in the state. then after fill out the application seen here

than go you the sheriffs office in the county you live in pay the $100 doll hairs or whatever your county charges and you should get your permit in 30 days unless your ineligable. i.e. no felonies, no being in any gang databases, no domestic violence, cant be at risk to harm yourself or others

I suppose so. I guess I'm not aware of the correct terminology, my bad. My Dad, and Uncle have just passed down a few handguns to my brothers and I. Just trying to make sure I go the correct way about it is all.

technically you can carry as many guns as you want with one permit. you just look like paranoid jackass doing so.

This is what I think every time I see this. I figure if you don't know what the law is in Minnesota and are too dumb to research it, then you are most likely to dumb to carry a handgun.
