well from what ive seen in the past is the only time any shops been at falt is a few years ago when all those custom shops were removing air bags and installing TV's. they didnt get sued they got some fine from the goverment.

i will tell you what is my tail lights have zero tint on them. if you get rearended with tinted tails you will be at falt

can they remove them if the customer states they dont intend on drive on the road that way?

I suppose since the surface is too smooth. I thought there was some kind of vinyl for the windows, like what they have on the sides of buses?

Rear ended with tinted tailights does not automatically make you at fault. I believe you can argue that the other person should have noticed the vehicle slowing down regardless of tailights.
