So my sister has her C&C permit... she carries a Glock 26. While she was getting ready for the day this morning, her friend/boyfriend (not sure which) apparently picked her gun up out of her purse, removed it from it's holster, and for some reason unknown to all of us at this time, decided he was going to break the gun down. He removed the magazine... but forgot to check the chamber 
It looks like he grabbed the slide with his left hand, pushed the slide lock down, and when he went to pull the slide off, he pulled the trigger to drop the firing pin.
When he pulled the trigger, the 9mm PowerBall round in the chamber went off, entered his left palm, and exited at a downward angle. The round then hit a kitchen drawer, where it stopped.
For anyone looking for a good self-defense load, this is a testimonial as to the effectiveness of the Powerball ammunition
