Both Pedregon brothers have very little class and this incident proved it again! They were both bad mouthing John all day in front of the ESPN cameras (read: whining like little bitches) and when the pit reporters would mention their comments to John, he would just brush them off. (trying to be better than the Pedregon's) At one point John even said.... "well, if he feels that way, then god bless him". He refused to lower himself to their level. Finally, after Ashley kicked Tony's ass, and Tony Pedredrgon went out of his was to walk over to where Ashley's car came to a stop (where John was also standing) to sling shit in person (in front of cameras) is when John finally had enough and verbally stuck up for himself!!!! And people actually think JOHN made an ass of HIMSELF???? He was minding his own business all day, it's the Pedregon brothers that went looking for confrontation...... NOT JOHN!!!

The incident between John and Tony really has nothing to do with the dive that John took for Robert. Sure, it's the root of the controversy itself, but it's really no excuse for the way the Pedregons acted in front of cameras. Dive, or no dive.... suck it up and take it like a Pro racer instead of making a fool of yourself. Here's an idea..... instead of being mad about Cruz losing a spot in the countdown via John's dive, maybe they should have performed better all season so they were solidly in the field by this point in the year??? Nope, instead it's John's fault!

That's ok, rumor has it neither of the pedregon brothers have a sponsor for next year, both Advanced Auto Parts and Quaker State Oil have decided to NOT renew their contracts for 2010...... and this was BEFORE Tony and Crus' recent display of bad sportsmanship.

Do I like that John took a dive for Robert??? Nope, not at all. I think it's very sad that drag racing has became a "team" sport. However, it's a fact in all motor sports now and we need to either accept it or not watch racing. I happen to enjoy it too much so I guess I've accepted it.

The fact you find no issue in him blatantly cheating by throwing a race shows you have about as much class and sportsmanship as he does.

If you think John's team is the only one diving in drag racing, you either don't watch it very often or you're wearing rose colored glasses. It's been happening for a LONG time!
