              sweet. lets spend tons of time and money making a 200hp engine fit the right way..... instead of doing a v8.

                  I'm sure he didn't care to put a run-o'-the mill V8 in there. Neither did Ford when they made the SHO's

                  I'd bet he'd lose sleep if he knew you weren't 'impressed'.

                    Why would he do a v8? Clearly the end-goal here is something unique, not "the fastest car I can make". If that were the case, I have a feeling he *MIGHT* not have used a FWD 4-door as his base platform.

                    Swapping in a v8 would have ruined the entire project IMO.
