    My project 88/89

First of all I hope I can figure out how to post a pic here. Anyways here in my 88/89 (long story there) project stang awaken from a long winters nap this past weekend. It's not pretty but thats soon to be changed. Just after this pic was taken I drove it to the body shop. As of now 3-25-03 the body work has been started and it should be painted and road ready by the end of April. It will look like a LX because of lack of money to fix and sandblast the stock GT parts. I was able to trade the stock GT parts for stock LX bumpers in good condition and ready for paint...oh well. It will be painted blue to save more money on painting under the hood and so on. No, it wont be perfect but its a start. Here is my site... http://stangnet.cardomain.com/id/88five0

Nice project car. If I get another new mustang, I'd like something from about that era. I really like the 88 - 93 Fox bodies.

suffler, nice site! I really hope mine turns out ok. I am going out to where my car is tonight to help the guy out to keep some costs down. MY buddy and I looked at a 95 green GT for 3g's but decided to pass it up. It needed a front bumper, hood, and left front fender from hitting a deer...TWICE!! I hope to get a newer style in the next couple of years myself like yours.

the only thing thats not stock so far is the exhaust system. I dont know what type it is but it's not stock. I have headers also. The car does run really good for the most part and sounds great with the aftermarket exhaust. Other than that it's still stock at far as I know. I was told buy another person that knows about the car that there is some go fast parts inside but he didnt know what they were. I have run her at the local rack (BIR) once and I didnt really stand on it but hit as fast as 90mph at high 15's. Not to bad for a unknown mile 5.0. Right now the car is in pieces getting some body work done. We will be install the bumpers (LX) this weekend. I will post some pics.
Thanks for the message and also letting me talk about my stang. Later.
