Do want! For a street car is a roll bar/half cage more than enough for chassis strength? What are the rules at the strip on cages?Originally posted by Notch View PostThat'd be kind of cool in a rear seat delete in a fox hatch.

Well, I decided to put some more hours in on this fuckin' thing today. Got a bit of work done. It wouldn't have been possible without the heated garage though. Wish I had one myself
Now we are just waiting on ordering the new K member and all of the front suspension pieces, then it'll just be a matter of putting it all back together.
Anyways, here's the pics.
I finished Dynamatting the hatch area and the rear seat area. It's been decided that we're just going to do a rear seat delete, so I didn't worry about cutting any of the holes out for the seat related stuff.

After I'm done with all of the Dynamatting and we get the rear seat delete, then I still have all of the factory sound deadner and quarter panels to put back in. For now their just sitting here in a pile.

So then I figured I'd get to Dynamatting the roof section. After today I think I'll be good on Dynamatting for a while. Every time I shut my eyes all I can see is that damn Dynamat logo
You can see the factory sound deader up in there, and it didn't look like it did much at all.

So then for a sheer lack of ambition to do any more Dynamatting, I decided to turn to the front suspension. The other night I had already decided to take the passenger side brakes and whatnot off, so I turned to the drivers side.

Then I figured the K member would be next since I had the front suspension apart. We have yet to order a new K member, but we're thinking about going AJE at the moment. Anyone have good luck with them at all?

Pulled the rack out.
