Jay Leno Kicks assOriginally posted by HackWhy spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? It's going to be in the junk yard for a reason. I understand you have a religion called LS motors and you have faith that the LS motors break the laws of physics and work better and cost less than anything else ever built. Plus they never wear out.

Creating a hydrogen infrastructure takes time, and you run into the question of what comes first the chicken or the eggOriginally posted by 95.0mark View PostSo when are we going to start seeing more of those and the filling stations? seems like a win win.
Most auto makers wont make a hydrogen car with no where to fill it and most energy companies wont provide hydrogen cars with no cars to fill.

my sister is a chemical engineer, her whole graduate school project/study was on hydrogen storage, for end use to be possibly used it in cars. and it is also what she is into now at the lab she works at, any production hydrogen car is still a long way off.

I'm pretty sure that the cost associated with making hydrogen capable of powering cars is extremely expensive and not even a possibility...for now at least.Originally posted by mnstang View Postmy sister is a chemical engineer, her whole graduate school project/study was on hydrogen storage, for end use to be possibly used it in cars. and it is also what she is into now at the lab she works at, any production hydrogen car is still a long way off.
