Playing around with powdercoating today

So I figured Id try out this chrome powder i have had and this 1200 degree silver.

This is the chrome applied to an aluminum motor mount bracket.





And the 1200 degree high temp silver to some ball joint heat shields.






I have my turbo heat shields in the oven right now and should have the shifter cable heat shield and the hot side piping done today, I may get around to some other things too..
Still gotta try out this bronze I have.

I use the techline coating to do stuff for my customers, what did you use?

Powder chrome always has a "dull" look to it, they can't quite reproduce the mirror finish of true chrome yet.

I guess more like aluminum, but from a ways back it looks chrome.

The few other parts I did in the reflective chrome look pretty decent, hard to get a nice shot when its dark in the house. Would show better in the day time im sure.







I also blasted and coated these parts in high temp silver.







I have a few other parts in mid progress I may finish up tomorrow.
