More than you can afford pal! Fieroarri!

I took some video of the car and you can see it here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LU4S7067Gs0

V8 powered Italian styled car much like the popular Magnum PI "F" car and this one has a sweet sounding mid engine all aluminum fuel injected V8. This car gets a lot of attention and is a lot of fun to take out and people will stop to take pictures of this car when you park it. This is a very cool car and is much more rare than a Corvette or a Mustang or even a Viper.

The car was originally built in 2000 and took two 2nd place finishes at the Carlisle Kit Car show in 2001 and 2002. Most all of the mechanical components of the car were restored two years ago and the major modifications to the car were professionally done at the Fiero Factory in Georgia and it is an outstanding and very reliable exotic automobile. If you want you can call Ed Parks at the Fiero Factory or ask for Jeremy, they did most of the major work on the car. I have a receipt from two two years ago from the Fiero Factory for $12,761 for just the interior and the V8 drive train and installation. It was professionally done so everything works, Even the Cruise and A/C.. The car also gets great MPG with the overdrive transmission and the fuel injected v8 combined with a light car. You WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. This car gets a lot of attention and I enter it in car shows and custom cruises very often and the car has collector plates. It is titled as a 1986 Fiero, so insurance is reasonable.
The car is appraised at over $25,000 - with well over that invested into the car. Just the engine/tranny and interior were over $12,500 and then over $3,000 for the tires and Compomotive wheels w/logos and $1,000+ for the complete brake upgrade package. Then over $2,000 for the held suspension with the adjustable coil-overs and the steering upgrades. Plus a new radiator, 134 AC conversion with new dryer, All 4 tires, fuel sender assembly (Fiero store upgrade), high volume fuel pump, Momo wheel w/logo, cruise stalk , rear cradle and engine bushings, Fiero store steering rack upgrade(metal gears much better than stock plastic ones), tie rod ends, steering damper, Complete Held front suspension with KYB shocks, KYB struts with adjustable coil overs also from Held Motorsports in the rear, window switches and plate, headlight switch, dimmer and plate, heavy duty rear axels and CV joints, Very nice Pioneer Xm + mp3 stereo, speakers and powered sub woofer, and excellent sounding complete new exhaust.

The car drives perfect and goes straight down the road and handles excellent with the Held suspension. It is a amazingly reliable car since it was built by the guys that do it best. You can actually drive this car anywhere and know you will get there and back and not even think about it. The car also comes with a real Ferrari car cover and a small collection of neat model cars.
Serious inquiries only please. No Joyrides!!! Email me for more information/pictures.. mratcliff@frontiernet.net

I've never heard that mid-90's 4.9 with exhaust on it before...actually doesn't sound that bad. Very recognizable starter noise though.

Why would you build a 308 replica. Those cars are like 10K or less these days.

On ebay most are 30-50k, some are starting bids at 10-15 but jump up quick. Sorry your 10k is wrong, but building one seems more spendy than buying a real one, so your question still stands.

Haha.. Nice find.. Thats one of my cars..

I bought the car already built and I will tell you I bought it for $13k delivered from New Jersey.. The car came with reciepts for over that much spent on the car getting the V8 and interior done within a year and 2,000 miles before I bought it.. There is about $30k into this car overall.. So you could buy a real one for about the price it costs to build a replica, but I let someone else spend all the money then I bought it.

A real one that is in good condition will run around $35,000+.. Its not a real Ferrari as you all alread knew before this thread, but the average Joe cant tell.. The Ferraro has been the funnest car and gets so much attention on the street that for the price you cant come close.. A big advantage is my replica can get a brand new engine and tranny for the price of a tune up and oil change on a real Ferrari..

Another thing is I have not spotted another Ferrari 308 on the streets this year be it real or replica, but I saw 20 Mustangs and 10 Vettes just going to Cub this morning..

On ebay you cant have any Ferrari logo's showing and cant have the name Ferrari in the listing. Ferrari Lawyers Hawk ebay and make sellers pull the listing. I figured CL would not give me problems and I called the replica an Italian styled car and they still flagged and pulled it from CL. I listed it like 5 times with different wording and descriptions and no mention of "Ferrari" or "Replica" and it was flagged and removed every time..

I was going to buy another Ferrari replica (Aldino KO)with a 3800 S/C V6 that runs low 11's in the 1/4.. But everyone that I showed the Aldino KO to told me they like the 308 better.. The V6 does sound like ass, So I am keeping the 308 for now..

Here is the Aldino KO in action..
