A few pics of the new tyrant.

12 weeks old as of Saturday. He's into EVERYTHING. It was a litter of 7, the runt went first, which I was surprised to hear. The biggest male is still left as of yesterday. I'm actually considering putting myself thru more headache and picking up him as well. No name yet - but I was thinking maybe "Ty"!

The Westie is in the household, almost 3.

The other male is the g/f's brother's, almost 2yrs old, about 90 lbs.

    Cute little fucker

I always said when I get the next Lab, that I wanted the pick of the litter cuz I wanted the biggest female. Well the female that was left seemed to take after the mom (a 45-lb. black) and was too small for what I was used to, plus she seemed a little skiddish. So then I looked at the males, which really seemed to take after the dad (a 125-lb. choc), and all were a good size. This one is the 2nd biggest, and the most mellow, and had the best coat IMO. The bigger brother has a pretty thick coat already = shedding ALL over... but damn he's got some size already. He's gonna be big I'm sure. The previous female I had (put down about 3 years ago ) was 96-lbs., and not an ounce of fat on 'er... so she's my benchmark dog.

How so? They keep each other entertained? I've never actually had two puppies at once, or two of the same dog.

They play with eachother, and IMO, what one learns, the other seems to catch on pretty quick.

That's true. They had another dog there that grabbed his dish when it wanted to be fed, and I'll be damned if he didn't do that tonight with the dish on the floor .

Take it from me though... the smaller pups, even runts, are not always so little when they grow up. My old German Shepherd was the runt of his litter, and was still fuzzy when we got him (His brothers/sisters had sleek and shiny coats). He ended up standing waist high on me, and about 120lbs of pure muscle when he was at his largest.
