Hood is finished

For those of you that have met me, my hood on my capri is been in primer for about 3 years, my brother and i add a two inch cowl scoop to it, and i had never finished it till now, my brother added the filler to the hood, and i sanded on it, and he painted it in his garage, it turned out pretty good. Here are a few pics of it.

He had a habit of popping his hood at the end of the track to let the heat out after a run, well one time the safety latch didnt catch! Well you figure it out!

ouch, at rockfalls one time i forgot to latch my hood down, i was racin a guy and BOOM, the safety latch caught it, scared the shit out of me, i let off right away.

Same thing I did too! Think that might've been in the Cobra... whipped up and caught the latch at about 1/8 mile and I let off right away too
