    Fires in the North Burbs

    Just thought I would share this pic, the DNR was doing prescribed burns across the road from me. Was a cool sight to see. They burned several thousand acres. LOTS of SMOKE

        Looks fun. Is this anywhere near where they had the fires 6 or 7 years ago?

          Im not too far from Carlos Avery, maybe 5-6 miles.

                Ok, cool. I worked at the Menards in Forest Lake when that happened...sucked unloading trucks during all that, they almost had to shut the store down.

                  I saw soemthing Similar to that up here In Ptown Tuesday when we were moving in to our new house....that was a big stretch that they were burnin!

                      doesn't mean i dont want them to successfully nest... I like there to be as many ducks and geese as possible, I kind of have a thing for waterfowl
