With the obvious amount of time/effort/money in that thing i'd put pontoons on it when the ice starts melting and use it all year.

I agree. The one my uncle had and we used to go back in the day was pretty nice as well. It wasn't as nice wood-wise inside... but it was bigger, and had fold down bunk beds on both ends to sleep 4, and had 6 holes. Had a nice lil' potbelly stove for heat, and a small stove for cookin' I believe, and we didn't fish with poles on the corner holes, it was set up with line on a like a reel, and the wheel had a cat collar bell inside of it, so if you weren't watchin' a line, you could hear when it was gettin' fucked with as soon as the line pulled down. Then you'd just grab the line and set 'em, then reel 'em up. It was good times!

I put a fold out bed in mine. when the bed was out 3/4 of the fish house was consumed with sleep space and only one hole was available. 2 holes were coolers and 2 holes were actually drilled.
